January at Amperative

Inside the Amperative studio

What a month! Does anyone else feel that January has been extra long this year? We have packed in so much this month and have really hit the ground running.

So, here's a glimpse into what's been happening in the Amperative studio. Enjoy some sneak peeks at projects, discover what’s sparked our creativity, and some interesting snippets that caught our attention.

I hope you enjoy it,

What we've been enjoying this month

British Seaside Simulator

We've been entertaining ourselves with this British Seaside Simulator (which is pretty accurate if we say so ourselves). We particularly enjoyed Weston-Super-Mare as it's just around the corner.

Notion

It's always fun to try and design yourself in 2D. We gave it a go using Notions custom self-portrait creator.

Project Spotlight

This month, we're turning the spotlight on ourselves! We wrapped up December with the launch of our brand new website, and we couldn't be more excited. The team put in a lot of hard work, and we're thrilled with the results!

Suzi shared about how we support organisations where they need it most.

Too good to be true?

One of the best parts of what we do is stepping in to help where it’s needed most—and seeing the difference it makes.

We’ve been working with a couple of charities for the past 5+ years who both have an incredible mission, driven by passionate volunteers. But there was a gap: without a dedicated marketing manager, their brand was being represented inconsistently. Volunteers were doing their best but lacked the tools and expertise to make sure that the charity's voice and image were cohesive. It wasn’t their fault—they aren't designers or marketers—but the impact was clear. Inconsistent messaging and a lot of missed opportunities to really connect with people.

This is where we came in. 💡
Now, we’re project managing their marketing and campaigns. Our role is about more than just creating content. It’s about being their brand advocate.

➡️ We meet monthly to go through what they want to achieve and give advice on those campaigns and project ideas

➡️ We suggest ideas and help soundboard the ideas to make sure they represent and align with the charity's brand, voice and vision.

➡️ We provide structure and consistency, so every communication piece—whether created by us or a volunteer—amplifies their mission in a cohesive way.

➡️ We facilitate ideas to come to life when capacity is low in the team

➡️ We support volunteers with tools and guidance, making their work easier and more impactful.

This isn’t a key offering we provide, so why do we do this? Because we care. ❤️

We understand that a strong brand isn’t about vanity—it’s about amplifying the impact of the mission. Through consistent messaging and thoughtful representation, we’re helping this charity build trust, rally supporters, and make a bigger difference.

To all the incredible charities and volunteers out there: you’re amazing. The work you do matters so much. If you feel like you’re missing the mark and want support to bring consistency, we’re here to help.

Discovery day trips

This month, some of us went to visit the team at Oak Hill College for their project kick off. It was great to connect with them and we’re looking forward to sharing what we’re working on soon!
