Emily is currently enjoying her break in South Korea, mainly shopping and Pokémon, so I am standing in for this months newsletter.

I cycle to work most days and was caught out this week by the cooler temperature. It's nearly time for gloves in the morning!

Here's why that matters.


We hear it all the time:
"We just need a new logo to refresh our brand."

But here's the truth — your logo is a symbol. Your brand is the entire experience. ✅ 

A logo is part of your brand identity; it's how people recognise you. 🧠 But your brand is how people remember you. Your brand is the gut feeling someone gets when they interact with your business. It's your voice, values, visuals, messaging, and the way you make people feel. It lives in the details — from your customer service, to your social media captions, to the tone of your emails. 

A great logo supports a great brand. But a logo alone can’t build trust, loyalty, or an emotional connection. 

So next time you're thinking about a 'brand refresh', ask yourself: Are we redesigning a logo? Or are we redefining our brand? There's a big difference— and understanding that difference is where real brand strategy begins.
