Inside the Amperative studio
We're already at the end of June, and I am just as shocked as the rest of you! Where did the time go? If you didn't know, the World Cup started this month, and we have officially got the sweepstakes running in the studio. I've yet to get a team to win, and I’m not sure this year is any different, but fingers crossed for my two teams, Norway and Tunisia!
We are surviving this heatwave thanks to aircon in the studio, trouble is, none of us want to leave at the end of the day!
So pop the kettle on for a cuppa to read a round-up of what we’ve been up to, and enjoy some sneak peeks at our projects from this month.

We've been working with the Achieve Together team, who provide specialist support for people with learning disabilities and autism. We’ve been supporting them monthly with their designs. From creating hospital floor plans to flyers that share the amazing work they are doing to support individuals, we love supporting their mission.

What you do in the rock bottom moments: My reflections from the Wonderful Summit
Last week I attended the Wonderful Summit with Dave.
It was a super impactful day, and I’ve been pondering on the things I heard and the people I spoke to. Dawid Konotey-Ahulu shared a few soundbites that really stuck with me -he talked about belief in people. Our belief in our teams shouldn’t be based on performance but on their potential. Because life is messy, and we all go through hard times. When someone's at rock bottom, that's the time that you tell them that you believe in them.
Dawid gave an example about children: When your kid is down or has messed up, that's when you tell them you love them, and you speak to who they’ll become, saying: 'You're going to be amazing!'
In business, when someone is going through a tough time, that's the key moment to say, ‘I believe in you. You can do this. Maybe not today, but it's going to come.’ You’re loving them and calling out their potential.
As business leaders, we remain committed to our people, even when outcomes seem uncertain. And the ones who make it are the people who respond back to your commitment with faith- they get into the boat even if they can’t see where it's going just yet. They say: ‘OK, I’m not sure about this, but if you believe in me, I’ll keep going.’
As a CEO, I’m not in this just for the good times in business.

This month...
Kim, Liv, and I exhibited at the TBE South West Charity Conference & Expo 2026. The theme was Rebuilding Trust, Resilience and Relevance: The Future of Charity in a Changing World, prompting us to consider how the sector needs to shift and flex to continue making an impact in an ever-changing world. With over 500 attendees, it was a buzzing event, and a great day out, and we enjoyed seeing some lovely familiar faces as well as meeting some new ones.
Suzi has been here, there, and everywhere this June. She and Dave took a trip to London for the Wonderful Summit South, a gathering for Christian entrepreneurs, founders, and leaders who want to build ventures that do good in the world. Shortly after, Suzi hit the road to Birmingham with the Eternal Wall team for their quarterly planning meeting.
Then finally, Fin, Ben, and Nikita took a trip to London to attend Laravel Live 2026 with other Laravel and PHP enthusiasts. They enjoyed inspiring talks, networking, and learning more about the Laravel ecosystem as a powerful web framework to make creating dynamic websites quicker and easier.
