News and inspiration

June 2024

Welcome to our latest roundup of news!

The KeyRing News is our quarterly newsletter where the people we support (Members) can share their stories and photos.

The latest edition has information about the general election, Members on the radio, friendship and more.

Below you can read about some of the other ways we have been supporting people to have their say.
Having a say in the general election

Part of our strategic goal of 'Expecting more for people' involves things like making sure our Members know they have the right to vote, and have the information they need to do so.
Since the election was called we have been sharing resources to help people to get registered to vote, find out how to vote and learn about the election process.

We're signed up to the My Vote My Voice campaign which aims to get as many people with learning disabilities and autistic people voting as possible, and have been using some of their great easy read information.

We are also keeping an eye out for easy read manifestos from all the parties.
