Middlesex Sports Festival

The Middlesex WheelPower Sports Festival is an inclusive event for anyone with a physical disability to discover sport in a safe, welcoming and friendly environment.

It is open to people aged 5 and up.

Sports will include wheelchair rugby, pickleball, boccia and sitting volleyball.
Date: 6 November 2025

Unscary Saturdays at Siobhan Davies Studios - Dance Classes with BSL

Unscary Saturdays are dance classes for people who may have found dance scary in the past, or never even tried before. The classes are for all ages and kids go free, and now include BSL interpretation.

The next classes are:

Sat 18 October: Breakin' with Sunanda Biswas
Sat 15 November: Bharatanatyam Basics with Shivaangee Agrawal

Online project for children with Long Covid

Long Covid Superheroes is a free, online drama and comics project for young people with Long Covid run by facilitators with Long Covid.

Over the course of a year, young people will create their own superhero alter-ego, design a costume for it, and collectively create a story for an illustrator to turn into a comic book.

London City Race - Accessible Adventure Course in Rotherhithe

This is a checkpoint-hunting challenge designed so that everyone can take part, whatever their ability or experience. Participants will explore the local area, visiting checkpoints using a simple map.

The course will be around 2km and has been designed by experienced planners keen to see more wheels taking part!

Moving to adult services - events for young people, parents and carers

In October there are two events for people in Southwark and Lambeth about transitioning from children to adult services.

Access Sport Survey

Access Sport are gathering feedback to help improve their services to organisations and gain a better understanding of how we can better advocate for community sport.

This survey is for clubs, community groups, and organisations that have worked with or are currently working with Access Sport. Only one person from your club, community group or organisation needs to complete the survey.

The survey should take around 10 minutes, and participants will be entered into a draw for an Amazon voucher.
