Have you been to the party of the summer?

The fun and free activities taking place across Didcot and surrounding villages as part of the Didcot Garden Party continue until 30 August.

With activities for children, families and adults there really is something for everyone. Check out the Didcot Garden Party page for more information.

And if you have joined any of the activities the Didcot Garden Town team would love to hear from you. Please fill out this survey and let us know what you thought and what you’d like to see more of next year, the deadline to complete the survey is the 15 September.

And remember we also have our Summer of Fun activities with the Active Communities team with skateboarding, family fun days, dance, football and more there are so many activities planned we guarantee that children will not get bored this summer!

Bank holiday bins

Bank holiday traditions: rainy barbecues, kids being chased by wasps around the garden, and the usual tweak to your waste collections.

That means we’ll be emptying everyone’s bins a day later during the week following the bank holiday on 28 August.

There’s more info, plus a full holiday collections calendar that will take you up to Easter next year on our waste calendar page.
